Yellowtail Flounder is caught in New England throughout the year. This is a great fish that is underutilized and underappreciated. It is easy to cook and is a secret favorite of people who live near the docks.

Yellowtail Flounder is great broiled with an herb butter on top. 1 portion is approx. 16 oz. We recommend 8 oz per person.

Quickly Sauté, broil or bake. Not for the grill.
Small, firm, flat whitefish. Does not need a lot of flavor added. Subtle in flavor. The perfect fish for a seafood rookie. A great way to get your kids to eat seafood.
Goes well with other complimentary seafood flavors, like crabmeat. Very easy to roll up with a stuffing inside. Simple is good. Pairs well with shellfish. Cook quickly.
Medium/hot sauté pan with oil and butter (add to the pan after its hot). Flour or crumb both sides of the fillet and cook until brown on both sides. Should be 2-3 minutes each side.
