Our goal is to provide captains with a valuable list of potential deckhands and create opportunities for people who want to work hard and make a living on the water.

We hope this program not only helps the captains find reliable crew, but also the community by helping people find jobs and getting younger people interested in the industry. It is important to note that Red’s Best does not handle any of the arrangements made by the captains with prospective deckhands. It is the captain’s responsibility to do all interviewing, hiring and payment agreements with the deckhands. It is also important to note that this is generally not easy work. It is typically long, hard days, but we can’t think of a more rewarding profession.
